COVID-19 NOS MUNICÍPIOS DE RORAIMA

Abstract
The spread of the new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, responsible for the disease known as COVID-19 has brought wide-ranging multilateral and multidimensional repercussions for humanity. Taking this pandemic theme as the object of this research, the objective of the article is to analyze the evolutionary cycle of COVID-19 in the state of Roraima, Brazil, through the analysis of primary data from the Brazilian Ministry of Health and the Government of Roraima. It has been concluded based on the results presented in the research that the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Roraima has not only acquired a wide dimension that turned out the state to have the highest number of cases and deaths per 100 thousand inhabitants in Brazil, but also impacted asymmetrically the municipalities in such a way that the capital, Boa Vista, presented a majority of cases and deaths in absolute and relative terms while compared to the other municipalities.
