Resumo
Em 31 de Janeiro de 2020, o Reino Unido deixou a União Europeia. Três anos e meio após a realização de consulta popular na qual 52% dos eleitores optaram pela saída do processo de integração continental, a consumação do Brexit pelo governo conservador de Boris Johnson apresenta um microcosmo de tendências globais num mundo em recuperação da última grande crise econômica, no qual o desgaste das democracias liberais coincide com o declínio da cooperação baseada nas instituições multilaterais.
