Abstract

The present study aims to analyze the importance of healthy eating and the practice of physical exercises in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, seeking to highlight the care and its benefits for health promotion. Through a bibliographic review based on academic works appropriate to the thematic record in the Google Scholar and Scielo databases. The information used was based on the knowledge already consolidated in the literature on nutrition and physical exercises and on scientific and official documents previously published. Therefore, the importance of this issue was verified, since food is a science that permeates most aspects of health, in addition to understanding that a balanced diet that offers important nutrients for the proper functioning of the organism can enhance our immune system to fight foreign bodies , also highlighting the fundamental importance of maintaining and / or increasing activity levels in the current pandemic, since when all the biosafety protocols determined by health authorities are followed.
