TECHNOSTRESS AND HOME OFFICE IN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: IMPACTS OF THE PRODUCTIVITY OF PUBLIC SERVANTS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research seeks to analyze of technostress and home office work during the Covid-19 pandemic on the productivity of public servants. The research was carried out through a survey of 329 civil servants from a Higher Education Institution (HEI) in southern Brazil. As analysis techniques, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were used. The results suggest the presence of technostress in servers and indicate that their productivity is positively influenced by the impact factor of the home office at work and negatively by the technocomplexity and insecurity factor, as well as by the age variable. The results contribute to research on home office work during the Covid-19 pandemic, evidencing the consequences of technostress in this context and the productivity of public servants at an HEI. In addition, the study complements the technostress research agenda, which is still scarce in national studies.
