Abstract

The role of B Corps in relation to women is significant within the context of entrepreneurship and gender equity. Recognized as B Corps, these business entities strive to create positive impacts both socially and environmentally while pursuing economic benefits. In the realm of gender equity, B Corps typically adopt inclusive practices and policies that enhance female participation and leadership at all organizational levels. The aim of this research is to demonstrate the impact of female entrepreneurial leadership on the new management paradigm of B companies in the 21st century. The methodology employed is grounded in the grounded theory method, structured according to a hermeneutical procedure divided into five phases, starting with an exhaustive data collection from over 4,000 companies, followed by a detailed analysis of 130 companies located in Chile. Out of the total, approximately 70% are dedicated to services, consulting, talent search, and technology, while only 16 focus on the Entrepreneurship Support industry according to the Directory of B Companies for Latin America. The findings of this study not only provide a deep understanding of the current realities in terms of business policies and female leadership but also emphasize the importance of adopting inclusive and sustainable practices to promote gender equality and sustainability in regional enterprises.
