Abstract
This essay discusses the historic and current political-military interventions of the United States in Cuba. The objective of the text is to present how such episodes prevented and prevent the full development of the country, aggravated after the development of the 1959 Revolution. For the development of this work, Brazilian secondary sources and Cuban documents are analyzed, in order to present how such processes are represented in both societies.
