PANDEMIA E CONFINAMENTO: O TRABALHO CONECTADO EM TEMPO INTEGRAL

Abstract
The theme underlying this article is the reorganization of work in times of pandemic. The text starts from the presentation of the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, traces a discussion about the confinement models traditionally adopted in the West and the idea of a useful and productive body of the worker. Then, taking into account data collected from secondary sources and workers' reports, the work configurations adopted by many companies and workers are discussed in order to keep the economy running. The results point to a practice in which working time becomes elongated and continuous, mainly due to an advertisement of the benefits of remote work or home office, as has been known.
