RACISM AND SEXISM AS OPPRESSIONS TARGETED AT QUILOMBOLA WOMEN: A BIBLIOGRAPHICAL REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE (2003-2023)

Abstract
Racism and sexism are markers of oppression that have a direct impact on the life experiences of black women. When placed in the context of quilombola women, the situation is exacerbated by the emergence of other markers of oppression that act intersectionally, placing these women in positions of vulnerability. When placed within an intersectional perspective, the context becomes even more painful for black quilombola women, as they are simultaneously crossed by different forms of oppression. The aim of this study is to map and analyze scientific production on the markers of racism and sexism as markers of oppression directed at black quilombola women over the last twenty years. This study brings a literature review, carried out through a bibliographic riview of articles published in the SciELO, PubMED and Lilacs databases in March 2024, including articles in Portuguese, English and Spanish, using "quilombo" and "quilombola women" as descriptors. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 22 articles were selected. As part of the conclusions of this review process, I would highlight the fact that we still have few studies on how racism and sexism, intersecting, interfere in the life experiences of black quilombola women in a specific way.
